How to Set Up a Printer For Use Within Fireside

In order to set up a network connected printer to Fireside you will need the following items:

  1. Make and Model of Printer (e.g. HP Laserjet M602)

  2. Location of Printer (DC or which district office city)

  3. IPv4 address of printer (You may need to contact your system admin for this info)

  4. Which tray to use for the first page of letters (typically the letterhead tray; this must be a single tray number)

  5. Which tray to use for subsequent pages of letters (typically the plain tray; this must be a single tray number)

  6. Email address of the staffer on site for testing (so we know who to contact to ensure our tests print properly)

Please check the IP address that the staffer provides. DC machines should always be 143.231.x.x, and district office machines should always be 137.18.x.x. Never accept an address that begins with 192, 10, or 172. This is a local address and will never work.

When you have these items, send an email with that information to help@fireside21.com. Our developers will then configure the printer with Fireside for your office and reach out about testing the printer.
