Contact Form

Where is my contact form?

If you are a web or CRM client of Fireside, your contact form is on your website. An example of the URL is http://joecongressman.house.gov/forms/writeyourrep/.

How does my contact form work?

When a constituent fills out the contact form, it is submitted into Fireside. If the constituent has an existing record in the system, the email is added to that constituent's record and displayed in the inbox. If a constituent is not found in the system, a new constituent record is created, the email is added to the new constituent, and the email is displayed in the Inbox.

How are constituents matched?

The public contact form accepts name fields, a home address, an email address, and a phone number (optional). With regard to matching, we use the name information + home address and email address to link contact form submissions to the correct people records in Fireside. If the constituent submits the contact form under a different name + home address/different email, the system will mark that as a new profile.
