There are a variety of factors which could cause an email to be flagged as invalid in Fireside. Some of these errors are "permanent" (ex. the email account has been deleted) but sometimes an email can be flagged as invalid due to a "temporary" error (ex. issues with the recipient's email network, mailbox is full, etc.)
You'll notice an email has been flagged as invalid when the email text appears in red and there is a ! next to the email.
If you believe this to be a valid email, you can override the invalid email flag by taking the steps below:
1. Click on the pencil icon next to 'Contact Information'
2. Select the 'Email' tab
3. Make a small edit to the email address (remove the "m" in .com for example). Hit Save in the top right corner.
4. Click on the blue pencil icon again > Select the 'Email' tab > Replace the "m" in .com
The invalid email flag will be cleared, and you should be able to send messages to this person as normal in Fireside.
