If you want to export the constituent data of a specific audience to a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, follow the steps below:
Go to the Outreach > Audiences in the navigation bar. Find the name of audience you want to export, and click on the blue "cloud" icon (or that audience's count total) in the People Matched column.
If you clicked on the number that appears under the People Matched column, you'll be taken to the Search Results page. The Search Results page will provide you with every person in your emanager that matches the criteria of the audience. Go to the top left corner and click the action button in the header toolbar and choose "Export this audience."
Select the checkboxes for any of the information you want to be included in the exported file. Some fields are automatically checked (emanager ID, OptIn, Email, First Name, Last Name) but you can add or remove any fields that you like. If you want to export the results of a survey, make sure to select the unique field(s) used.
If your office has many existing fields, hitting CTRL+F will allow you to search for your desired field.
Click the "Export" button at the top of the page to download a CSV file to your computer.
Pro-tip: Always, always, always, export the emanager ID (listed first as “id” and checked by default). If you want to re-import and match data to the proper constituent record, the emanager ID (which is 100% unique for each constituent) is the best way to do this and 100% accurate to avoid creating duplicate people records.
