-
Navigate to Website > Pages.
-
Find desired folder and then page you wish to edit.
-
Here is how you can track down where to find a specific page in Fireside:
-
Example Page: http://joecongressman.house.gov/ConstituentServices/StudentAid.htm/.
-
The text immediately after the ".gov/" indicated the folder (bolded above). Thus, you should edit the above page in the Constituent Services folder.
-
Once in the folder, use the rest of URL (underlined portion above) to find the specific page. In this case, it's Student Aid.
-
-
If you wish to add a link, header, or separate text component, click on the "Add Component" button above the page you want to edit. If you are just editing an existing component, please skip to step 5.
-
Choose a component type to be added from the "Type" dropdown box:
-
External Link: To add a link to the page outside the website.
-
Internal Link: To add a link to the page within the website.
-
Header: To add a header above text.
-
Text: To add a text box for desired text.
-
-
Click the blue component name link under the appropriate page.
-
Enter or edit the content of the component.
-
Click the "Save" button at bottom of the page.
-
Components can be re-ordered on the page by clicking the up and down arrows located to the right of each component.
