The new mailroom inbox is an updated version of our current policy mailbox for SFL and SLED clients. We have added an option for users to choose if they want to log the mail in Fireside as they normally would or if they would like to reply to individual email. Users navigate to the inbox and have the blue arrow icon to respond to an individual email or log the email. SLED clients will default to ‘Send Email’ and federal clients will default to ‘Log As’. By default, this option will be open wen the user navigates to this page. They will continue to be able to minimize the action view, close the action view completely, or resize it.
For the send individual email option, the user can choose the form letter that they would like to use from their templates.
Users can then preview the individual email before it is sent to clients. This has been a highly requested feature from SLED prospects and clients in order to compete with competitors and client requests. SLED clients do not experience the same volume of emails as federal and being able to respond to individual emails is ideal for meeting constituents on the fly and addressing their concerns. For federal, this will be a new feature and different from their normal batch response behavior because of the volume that federal clients experience.
You can toggle back to Log As to log the message as normal.
