What Is A Campaign?
When an organization wants to promote a cause, they will often work with an advocacy vendor to create a campaign.
Advocacy vendors host forms on their website to collect information from supporters of this cause, apply that information to a pre-written email or letter (all with matching language), and ensure the delivery of that message to the supporter's Members of Congress.
To ensure the messages are delivered to Members, advocacy vendors will use the CWC (Communicating With Congress) Black Box tool to send campaign emails directly to your Fireside account.
Campaigns in your Inbox
The Inbox has a dedicated view for campaign mail, to keep campaign messages organized and easy to manage. Click the campaigns icon (in blue below) to view mail only from campaigns.
The subject line of the campaign email is in the vertical list.
From the horizontal list, you can then view each piece of mail within the campaign.
To learn more about logging campaigns in the inbox, please see Logging Campaigns and Campaign Details.
