If you would like to add a YouTube video to a page on your website, please see the diagram below on how to copy the embed code from your YouTube video page (this information will be below your video).
(Copy embed code from YouTube)
You will notice that in the image above, the "Use old embed code" checkbox is checked. You can un-check this and use the newer version of the embed code, but this may interfere with your site's dropdown navigation if your site navigation reaches far enough down the page to where the video is located. The new code will show the video on top of your site navigation dropdown, making it difficult to click on some items. If that happens, switch back to the "old embed code," and use that instead.
After you have copied the YouTube embed code, you should paste this code into the HTML view of any page on your website. Depending on how your page is arranged, you may want to place the YouTube embed code in its own text component rather than inside of the text component with your page content (text) in it. This is because the javascript code of the "old embed code" will interfere with the text editor and switch you to the basic editor, which doesn't have the traditional formatting buttons. The new embed code won't switch you to the basic editor, but the new code may interfere with your dropdown navigation, as mentioned earlier.
You can add a new text component (if desired) on your directory landing page. Click the "Add Component" button. Text is the default component type so clicking the "Submit" button will take you to your newly created text component editor. You can paste your embed code in this new text component (using the HTML view) and save.
