My Mail - FS Guide

  • All logged pending mail within your system is accessible via your “My Mail" page.

    • Here you can keep close tabs on individual mail items or even batched mail assigned to you or other staff to make sure it’s getting processed correctly and in a timely manner.

  • There are filters on the right side of your screen that allow you to narrow or broaden your search results.

    • If you see a staffer’s name in the staffer filter on the right, it means that staffer has mail assigned, even if you see a “0” next to the name. Use other filters available to find the specific mail assigned. If no mail is assigned to the staffer, their name will not appear in the filter.

    • An important filter is “Unbatched” vs “Batched.” Mail can be logged from the inbox without being assigned to a batch. This is generally done when mail is so unique that it doesn’t really fit in one of your existing batches and is better assigned directly to staff. The “Unbatched” filter is the best way to find these and is the default view for the page.

  • Using the checkboxes to the left of each mail item, you can select individual mail items and then modify, print/send, or close out the mail by clicking the snowman button in the top-right corner of your screen.

    • You can also hover over an individual mail row and hit the snowman button that appears to the right to take further action.

  • If you click the carrot icon to the left of each correspondence’s checkbox, you can expand the selection to view the inbound message.
