How to Export a Batch

The constituents in a batch can be exported by creating a correspondence issue tag and using the audience builder.

1.  Create a Correspondence Issue Tag

*Please Note: Only Account Owners will have access to this function

Navigate to System Settings > Fields & Tags > Issues

Add the new issue under Issue Hierarchy

2. Apply the Issue Tag to the Batch

Navigate to Mailroom > Batches and select the batch you wish to export.

Select 'Modify All'

Search for your new Issue tag

*Please Note: To apply your issue tag, please select the blue + icon to the right of the search bar. You will know your issue tag has been applied when it appears underneath the search bar like the image below:

Select Update in the top right corner.

3. Create an Audience

From Outreach > Audiences, select the blue + icon in the top right corner.

Set the Field to 'Correspondence Issues'

Select your correspondence issue that has been applied to the batch

Save the audience

*Regarding audience count: The audience tool will only pull the total number of individual constituents in each batch. If one constituent has wrote in multiples times in the same batch, they would only be counted once in the audience. This may be cause for discrepancies between batch mail count and audience count.

4. Export the Audience

From the main Audience page, click on the blue cloud icon

Select the data fields you wish to include in the export. The following fields will be included by default: emanager ID, FirstName, LastName, Email, OptIn. You can select CRTL + F in your web browser to search through the data fields.

Select 'Export' in the top right to download your audience into a .csv file.
