Automations, automations, automations! While it can be scary to have mail auto-logged and skip the inbox, creating automations helps keep your inbox counts lower and gives you more time to draft responses and send mail. Why log mail the same way twice?

If ever there’s a form letter that you discontinue using but you know it’s tied to some automations, send us an email and let us know how we can update those automations en masse! We can update all automations using the old form letter and assign an updated one you’ve drafted, or we can simply disable them.

Issues are particularly helpful when tagging 499s/bulk mailings. Tagging issue codes to 499’s can help ensure you message different people each time, and it will also help reporting and keeping track of your mail sent. You can use more generic issue tags for larger 499 programs and have specific issues to keep track of individual mailers (i.e., “117 - Summer 2021 499s” vs. “117 - HR 145 Cosponsor - March 2021 499”).
