Photos is a helpful tool that enables you to create a public facing version of an image. When you upload an image to Fireside, we make a copy and make it publicly available for constituents at a link on your website. Once this image has been uploaded, it’s free to use on the website or in newsletters.
-
You can group photos in albums and choose to hide the album.
-
Hiding albums prevents the images within from being automatically pulled onto your website (i.e., in photo feeds). Photos included in hidden or unhidden albums are equally available for use on the site or in newsletters.
-
-
Fireside creates three additional versions of each photo you upload - in addition to the original/high resolution image - for office use.
-
Links to uploaded photos are available once a photo is uploaded and are accessible from within an album by clicking “Thumbnail,” “Low,” “Medium,” or “High” to the right of each image.
-
-
To update the images in your homepage banner carousel, go to Website > Photos, select the Homepage Album, and add or edit the images.
-
The images will appear in the order that is set in Fireside

If you would like an image to appear with a news item, make sure it has been uploaded to Fireside, and select it under “Associated Photos” on the “Add a Document” page
