In Fireside, you can embed surveys into newsletters as either buttons, links, or forms.
Please note: For a survey to be embedded into a newsletter it must first be be Published and have either One Single Select Field OR One Multi Select Field and One Email Address Field.
Surveys built with the Yes/No field type cannot be embedded. You can build your survey using a Single Select field and manually type in "Yes"/"No" for your responses.
The survey can also include a hidden Optin Field (to increase newsletter subscribers). There is no need to include header text, but per Franking rules, if a hidden yes/no field is used for Optin, a line informing respondents that they will be automatically opted in to the newsletter should be added to the body of the newsletter (below the form).
From your Newsletter editor, navigate to the 'Build' tab and select 'Survey'
Select your published survey and select your desired format
Survey Links
This is the recommended option that you should use. It is supported by all email clients and you will get a higher response rate with this method.

Displaying Survey Results After Submission
Also included with this feature is the live results page. Whenever recipients fill out the survey, they will be directed to a page on the official website that displays the real-time results of the survey. The link to this page is automatically hyperlinked to the submit button from the embedded survey form, or if you're just making use of "Yes" and "No" buttons, the links you transfer to the buttons will take submitters to the live results.
If you do not want submitters to see the live results upon submission, you can turn this off from within the survey. Head to Website > Surveys, and open up your survey. Then uncheck the box that says "Show Results After Embedded Survey Submission."
If the survey is set to not show results after submission, constituents will only see a confirmation page with a brief message confirming the submission.
